i already know linux, windows server and active directory well but i think no one will hire me as a sysadmin since i have no proven experience in this field. so i thought getting a certification would be a good idea. for entry level linux certification, candicates were lfcs and rhcsa. i was sympathetic to red hat for some reason so i went for it. but i didn't knew that it lacks a lot of quality. i'm saying it because as an offsec enjoyer i get used to top quality, both exam experience and customer support side. problem #1 you can't directly buy rhcsa exam voucher from red hat if you living in turkiye. customer support states it's because of tax legislation. it's nonsense, a lot of companies smaller than red hat provides zero frustation payment systems. problem #2 customer support response time is awful. it takes a few hours to get response. problem #3 exam rules and environment is a big bull. i removed my bracelet, chains and automatic watch to meet the requirements. but not that easy. they also want a complete clear workspace. like even usb drives or ashtray is not allowed on desk. by saying ashtray, yes, smoking is not allowed too. i'm using triple monitor setup and they wanted me to place a cloth to cover unused two monitors. topkek, they're not even receiving input because of live iso environment. live iso environment is really uncomfortable. resolution is 1024x768 so even if you try to adjust by typing set-resolution on terminal with 1920x1080 option or something, you don't get readable texts. i don't expect my monitor's native resolution which is 3440x1440 but having some mid tier resolution would be better. i changed my monitor's builtin settings and selected some resolution from set-resolution and barely got readable texts. because 1/3 of screen has a blank section and you working on 2/3. problem #4 zero point. yes, if you don't reboot exam machines after completing tasks, you'll get zero point. even though for tasks that no need reboot. if you ask customer support for explanation, they simply won't. positive #1 you get exam results very quickly even though they say it would take three days. -- so it was my experience.
